BBC ICECREAM, after joining forces with Reebok for a footwear collection in November, is tapping back into its collaborative mentality this month for an incense chamber project with YEENJOY STUDIO. The partnership arrives closely after Chinese artist YiRan morphed Despicable Me characters such as Gru and the Minions into a range of porcelain products.
Together, the two parties turn to BBC ICECREAM’s classical “Cones & Bones” logo for inspiration, and directly translate it into a home piece built for aromatic pleasure. Yee’s studio crafts the wacky insignia that features a waffle cone, cherry eyeballs, and melted ice cream with two crossbones penetrating through it into 3D porcelain format. The figure stands tall on a circular base, the bottom half of which is detailed with pre-dripped patterns towards the top and the ICECREAM moniker placed front and center. The exterior of the entire product is marbled with white and blue paint to nod to YEENJOY’s signature design language.
For parties interested in sprucing up your living room with a more nose-friendly fragrance, this co-branded incense burner is reportedly dropping come December 23 at BBC ICECREAM flagship stores in New York and Tokyo, the brand’s official website, HBX, and YEENJOY’s official website. The price is set at $340 USD a piece.
